Service: Full Wedding Planning
Marty and Tracy's story isn't like many other couples. Yes, the two were friends first and ultimately realized the affection they had for each other. Yes, they did date and fall in love. Of course, Marty asked for Tracy's hand in marriage. However, their story also included a stage 4 breast cancer diagnosis.
We received a phone call early in 2018, not from Tracy or Marty, but from the non-profit organization Wish Upon a Wedding. This organization grants weddings or vow renewals to couples who are facing life threatening illnesses or a life alternating circumstance. There was absolutely no question that we wanted to participate when the organization told us about Tracy and Marty and their story.
From the very beginning, the love between this couple was evident. In spite of their difficult circumstances, you could feel the love and gratitude this couple had not only for the opportunity they were receiving, but for each other and their families.
Vendors from all over the state of Oklahoma came together to grant this wonderful and oh so deserving couple the wedding of their dreams. We are so thankful and pleased to be a small part of their wonderful story. We pray and hope for many more years to come for them both.

Tracy and Marty were all smiles during their wedding day. They were so thankful to be receiving a wedding. Their initial plans were to get married at the county courthouse, Marty explained he would have gotten married anywhere if it mean that Tracy would be his wife.
Almost everything was donated for the Swinferd's big day, including the beautiful dress that Tracy got to wear. The dress looked like it was made for Tracy and fit her like a glove.
Marty could barely contain himself when he finally saw Tracy for the first time. It was a beautiful moment for the both of them.
The groom created this super cute sign for their guests as a play on the new trend of "choose a seat, not a side".
The Restore House donated their venue space to host the wedding. The space featured a gorgeous white paneled front with high beams and picnic tables. The space was perfect for the day and even protected from the sporadic rain during the day.
Florals, donated by Rootstock Floral, adorned the space. This gorgeous ceremony chandelier was a focal point for both the ceremony and reception.

During the planning process, Tracy and Marty were very flexible with their details. Tracy chose the color pink, however, to honor the fight she and so many other are battling. It was a beautiful tribute.
Due to time constraints on their wedding day, a first look was required. The couple chose to spend a few moments before their first look to read each other love letters.
The florals were donated by Rootstock Floral and were a gorgeous addition to the overall day.
Both cakes donated for Tracy and Marty's wedding were absolute show stoppers. The bridal cake, donated by LaurAnne Baking Co. , featured white buttercream frosting with beautiful floral details.
The grooms cake, created by baker You Need a Cake, featured a Harley Davidson motorcycle logo with a tire design. It was absolutely perfect to match the groom's personality. . Vintage furniture rentals by Runaway Belle Vintage Rentals brought the space together. With their coffee table, we were able to place photographs of the bride and groom over the years for guests to admire during the reception.
Linens were donated by one of Wish Upon a Weddings National Sponsor, Nuage Designs. The linens were the perfect additional touch for the wedding day.
The main color bride Tracy wanted at her wedding was pink in honor of her breast cancer journey. Pink was seen all around her wedding, including her invitation suite, which was donated by No Regrets Stationary in Oklahoma City.
Tracy and Marty's wedding party included their children, close friends and grand children. Even Tracy's son walked her down their aisle.
Guests were served a delicious buffet supplied and donated by Harris Custom Catering out of Oklahoma City. The buffet included delicious foods including chicken, mashed potatoes, rolls and more. Prior to the buffet being opened, Harris Custom Catering even donated passed hors' d'oeuvres to the wedding guests as an extra touch.
